Decilog · iPhone app Effective October 13, 2026
Decilog is operated by Gojunpyo. Contact: [email protected].
Decilog uses microphone access to estimate ambient sound levels. Processing happens on your device. The app operator does not upload microphone audio, recordings, or measurement results to its own servers.
Recording is off by default. When enabled, up to five minutes of audio is held temporarily in app memory. An audio file is created when you choose MP3 export. You can discard a recording in the app or close the app to clear audio held in memory.
Calibration, language, skin, measurement mode, reference level, screen-awake preferences, and microphone-notice acknowledgement are stored locally. Measurement samples are held in memory while the app runs. Display Hold freezes the display while sampling continues.
Apple StoreKit verifies purchase and restore status. Pro entitlement and any temporary Pro-pass expiry are stored on the device, including its Keychain. Older locally granted Pro entitlements may remain there. New account registration is not offered. Deleting the app removes app-local preferences; Apple purchase history and Keychain entries may remain under iOS rules.
Reports can be exported as PDF, JPG, or PNG; enabled recordings can be exported as MP3. Decilog creates temporary files for the iOS share sheet and attempts to remove them when sharing closes. Copies you save or send remain with your selected destination and follow that service's handling of data.
Lifetime Pro is a one-time Apple in-app purchase. Apple processes payments. The developer does not receive your payment-card details. Purchase restoration uses your Apple Account through StoreKit.
A completed optional rewarded ad can grant one hour of Pro on the current device. It expires automatically and does not create a subscription or trigger a payment.
The app includes Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on consent, device settings, and region, these services may process IP-based approximate location, device identifiers, crash and performance information, advertising data, and app/ad interaction information for advertising and measurement.
Google's consent flow is checked before ads are requested. Where available, Ad privacy choices in Settings lets you reopen those choices. Microphone audio and measurement samples are not supplied to the advertising SDK.
Basic measurements, basic reports, and exports are available without buying Pro or watching an ad. Ads may be unavailable. Lifetime Pro removes ads while its entitlement is active.
See Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.
You can revoke microphone permission in iPhone Settings. You can delete temporary recordings and choose whether to export or share files.
